De derde Transformers-film doet het geheel niet slecht; de internationale critici en de bioscoopbezoekers zijn een pak milder in kritiek dan bij de vorige film (en hebben eindelijk door dat ze niet te hard naar een ingewikkelde plot moeten zoeken). Helaas heb ik zelf nog niet de tijd gehad om een ticketje te gaan kopen en zelf te gaan bekijken dus ik baseer mijn mening voorlopig op een schitterend concept art dossier!
Josh Nizzi
We verhaalden al eerder over Mr. Robot Designer himself: Josh Nizzi. Als er één filmreeks is waar robots het grootste percentage van het scherm inneemt, is het wel de Transformers-reeks. Nizzi was dus een zeer logische keuze voor het lijstje. Josh Nizzi mag op zijn beurt trouwens ook regisseur Michael Bay bedanken want ondanks zijn enorme skill-set was Josh Nizzi een vrij onbekende naam voor hij werd ingehuurd om mee te werken aan de vorige Transformers. Ondertussen heeft hij al meerdere DVD's uit en een fanbase waar menig andere (concept) artists van kunnen dromen!
Josh is één van de artiesten met het grootste aandeel in de ontwikkeling van Transformers Dark Of The Moon en daarom splitsten we zijn concept art gedeelte netjes in twee stukjes. Het eerste deel vind je hier!
