De in Amerika zeer bekende Dennis Hof heeft 2012 alvast zeer 'futuristisch' ingezet. De zakenman gaat namelijk in Nevada een bordeel openen en niet zomaar eentje: het wordt een alien-bordeel. Hof creëert met dit thema en de leuze sex from another planet iets dat tot nogtoe niet gezien is ter wereld. (en waar we misschien niet direct op zaten te wachten)
Zijn er dan fans van 'science fiction sex'?, is volgens mij toch wel de hamvraag hier maar qua locatie probeert het bordeel alvast wel te scoren: het domein bevindt zich vlak tegen de 'Nevada Test Site', dat voor UFO-fans bijna even berucht is als Area 51 en in de jaren '50 de meeste kernproeven werden uitgevoerd.
Of dit echter voldoende is om alle mannen met een raar fantasietje achter hun pc weg te halen en tot daar te lokken, zal enkel de tijd ons leren, hoewel ik er persoonlijk mijn twijfels bij heb. Natuurlijk is het wel zo dat ik niet echt in de beoogde doelgroep val, ik zou namelijk meer fan zijn van een bar waar elke avond de Star Wars Cantina -band kwam optreden....
Heb je trouwens zelf al jaren een zwak voor een 'dame' van nietaardse oorsprong uit bijvoorbeel Star Wars, Star Trek, Avatar,... vergeet dan zeker geen mailtje naar Dennis Hof te sturen want qua kostuums en specifieke personages zijn er blijkbaar nog geen definitieve beslissingen genomen...
Hof's alien theme is already well past the probing stage, but important details — whether the working women will be painted green, for example — are still being decided [...] It's unclear whether the costumes will be for everyday use or for promotional events and special occasions.
