Iedereen die een beetje fan is van computer-gegenereerde actie en special effects weet dat het bedrijf 'Industrial Ligt and Magic' alles uit de kast haalde voor de meer-dan-fantastische visueel schitterende special effects in de nieuwe Marvel/Disney kaskraker 'The Avengers'...
Een sterk staaltje computer graphics
In één van de grootste actiescènes van de film zien we een gigantische kudde aliens (wat is het verzamelwoord voor veel aliens die op iets afstormen?) die de straten van New York (dé plaats waar ALLE aliens hun aanval beginnen) bestormen.
Tot mijn grote verrassing werd deze alles-vernietigende aanval opgenomen in de straten van Cleveland (daar mag blijkbaar al eens een gebouw ontploffen) en een groot stuk voor een gigantische green-screen in New Mexico.
Grootse ontploffingen, ramen die aan diggelen vliegen, aliens die te pletter storten... computer graphics alom dus en zeker de moeite waard om eens te bekijken!
EDIT: de correcte uitdrukking is: een invasie van aliens... bedankt Zuchtke!
