The position

The Information Architect/Usability Engineer (IA/UE) wears multiple hats, but ultimately it all comes down to making our positioning as a consumer- but also a human being-driven communication company as solid as possible.
As Information Architect, you are in charge of the logical and intuitive interface & structure of websites and interactive applications. Your goal is obtaining a top-end user experience with special focus on usability & conversion optimisation . You create wireframes, site maps, schematics, working prototypes... to describe the intended user experience.
As Usability Engineer, you sink your teeth into issues of user-friendliness and anticipate and identify user problems. In so doing you enter into dialogue with the customer to analyze their information & functional needs and work with our customers to understand their business models and goals.
You will also work in close collaboration with the design & the analytics teams, to guarantee an optimal user experience & a solid conversion.

Your working area is broad and includes:

• Information architecture
• User analysis – Use cases
• Functional analysis - Task analysis
• Navigation design
• Flow charts
• Mock-ups /  prototypes
• Standards & best practices
• Usability testing & auditing
• Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)

Your profile

To successfully fill this position, we expect you to have:

• Solid experience and extensive expertise in designing user experiences for websites,
• Competence with regard to understanding and describing complex process requirements, functionality needs, user personas and tasks to create & design  the "ideal" user experience,
• Experience in testing, analysing & optimizing sites,
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience and expertise in designing mobile user experiences   is a plus.
• And of course, you can knowledgeably discuss the Nielsens and Spools of this world.
• Knowledge of Axure is also certainly welcome.
• Interactive marketing appeals to you, and with your skills you are firmly convinced that you can create added value here.
